About Company Available Positions	TAQA North is currently searching for a Production Technologist. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the Production Technologist is responsible for day-to-day support of operations. Work includes minor well servicing, chemical monitoring, electrical monitoring,  production measurement and  He/she will manage small projects. Job Summary	Work with the team to maximize production and reliability Order equipment and labour as required to complete tasks, including cost control Keep accurate records of all activities Participate in regular business reviews with the group Plan and supervise capital and expense projects better suited to on-site supervision Work efficiently and effectively in a functional team environment Assist with budget development and stewardship of the same
Experience and Education:	5-7+ years directly related experience Technical diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology Strong skills in subsurface operations and production issues. This includes but is not limited to maintenance of pumps, batteries and compressors Good surface operations experience Strong background in oil Knowledge of shallow and deep gas preferred Background in field production optimization Recent field experience Ability to develop and maintain a close working relationship with field staff
Required Qualification Deadline Date For Apply	Chemicals: Maintain the tracking system for all methanol injection and report Maintain the  calculated methanol injection rates for all injection points,  work to optimize and report Monitor and maintain the downhole corrosion inhibitor program Electrical: Maintain the  tracking system to check all connected horsepower, compare to contracts Verify all field-connected horsepower Identify time of use consumption Work over/well servicing: Maintain the  bottom hole pump tracking system Maintain the  well down check system Optimize plunger lift systems Analyze all down hole failures for economics and optimization Work with field staff on surface equipment optimization Maintain and steward all down hole costs to optimize job cost and repair costs. Maintain the  mean time between failures on all BHP’s Complete dynos and fluid levels on each pumping well once per calendar year complete with analysis Other: Work with AFE Navigator to develop and cost track AFE’s for your own projects Work with Open Invoice to approve invoices Work with Enablon and Roughneck to ensure field regulatory compliance (inspections, work orders etc…) Work with Avocet to track production
